I talk about this all the time, but results in your health and well being come from consistency applied over time. Everyone gets excited when you first start a program. It’s fun, it’s new, and it feels good to begin something. Then after a few months (weeks for some people), the newness wears off. Life get ins the way. We get busy. Things happen, and we fall off. Then we get frustrated with ourselves and a little bit disgusted with the fact that we keep doing the same thing over and over again. We start something then we stop it. When we get to this point, we give up, quit, and beat ourselves up about it.
Here’s the deal guys and gals….
That is human nature. If you fall off for a bit, that’s expected. We ALL fall off now and again. The key is to get back on. Show back up. You’re not starting over here, you’ve already built a base. It’ll come back after a few days, just keep going. When you can stay consistent over the long haul, that’s when results happen. If you quit, you’ll never get the results that you signed up for in the first place. Focus on habits that will create a level of consistency, and you will accomplish your goals.
