Thanksgiving is over. I know the holidays are trying. I get it. We are busy, it’s cold, it’s hard to get motivated to go to the gym.
This is why the average person gains 20+lbs during the holidays. I went off the rails myself this past week. I am up 15lbs. Of course, much of that is water retention, but still, it’s easy to gain weight in the holidays. Motivation is difficult, it’s hard to get excited about going to the gym. Couple that with the fact that the body is designed to store more fat in the winter because it expects famine and scarcity over the winter, and you’ve got a recipe for disaster in your health.
I want to encourage you to make yourself a priority 3 hours a week. Hold on tight. Summer is coming again, and you can be ready for it by training through the winter.
We’re in this together. Let’s get it done!
