If you want to eat healthy you know you have to get in the habit of buying more healthy food. (veggies anyone?) You also know that resisting the temptation to put sugary and unhealthy snacks in the shopping cart is how to avoid eating it. Once the fudge is in your house it’s too late. You will eat it. I will eat it too. This Halloween candy has got to go!
The way you configure your environment impacts your results. You get the outcome you design for. Every decision affects the habits you establish either for success or lack thereof. In order to be successful design your habits around the outcomes you want to accomplish. If you want to eat healthy, don’t buy the stuff. I can hear you now, ‘but my family will flip out.’ My opinion is, that your family should help support your decision to get healthy. I know it’s harder then it sounds, but you’ve got to develop habits and design the life that will set you up for success.
If you want to be successful on the workout front, design your life around making it to the gym. Schedule the days when you’re going to workout and make it happen. It’s an appointment with the most important person in your life. YOU! and guess what…. Your healthy life actually depends on it.
