I hear this all the time….
‘If I only had time to do this, or do that, I’d be able to do it.’ For example, ‘I wish I had time to workout like you do.’ ‘I don’t have the time to do an exercise program.’
I’m going to let you in on a little secret….
We don’t create or destroy time.
EVERYONE has the same amount of time every day. Therefore, I don’t have any more time than you, or vice versa.
What I do have is a difference in priorities. I prioritize time in the day to do a workout which is why I get a workout done. I’m not trying to be flippant here, I know you’re busy. We are all busy. We all have things going on. But the truth is, if you want to make fitness a focus, you’ve gotta prioritize it in your life. That means, that something else has to go on the back burner.
If you’ve got time to watch Scandal, or the Making of a Murderer you probably have time to get a workout in.
So the question I ask you is this…..
Do you have a time problem or a priority problem? And if it is the latter, what are you going to do to change it?
