3-14-18… #Perfect Effort…

One of our Core Values here at LivLimitless is Always Give Perfect Effort.

I just wanted to take a second to give a shout out to everyone who participated in the open this past weekend.  The workout included double unders or singles on the jump rope as well as overhead squats and muscle ups or pull ups depending on which version you did.

I saw a ton of people struggle through this workout and get to sticking points where they couldn’t perform a movement.

For example, I watched Krystal spend 14 minutes working on her double unders.  She got 23 total in 14 minutes.  This is a weakness of hers and she did her very best effort to get it done.  I saw many people struggle through double unders.

I saw many people struggle through the overhead squat.  For some, the Rx men’s weight was their previous max.  I saw several people do this weight multiple times even though it was previously their max.

I saw quite a few people struggle on the pull up bar.  Even though they may have not gotten a pull up, they still did their best effort.  Same goes for people striving to get their first muscle ups.

There were some hard fought efforts this weekend, and I want to say thank you for giving your perfect effort.  In the end it’s always about doing your best and improving upon that.

As for everyone not in the open, I’ve seen some tremendous efforts lately in the regular workouts as well.  It’s alway always about doing your best.  Giving your best effort, and I’m so proud of the things I’m seeing accomplished!

Deadlift while resting complete sets of auxilary work

MetCon:

Push ups x 1 minute

Box Jumps x 1 minute

Stepping Lunges x 1 minute

Barbell Hang Clean x 1 minute

4 Rounds for reps
