4-23-18…. Nutrition Matters….

Staying on point in nutrition is really critical to success in ANY exercise, performance, or fitness endeavor. Too many people too often use the fact that they worked out as an excuse to eat terribly. ‘I work out to eat.’ ‘I work out to drink beer.’ ‘I need to burn more calories so I can eat more calories.’  None of those attitudes lead to long term success.  I have people train with us all the time that don’t get the results they desire and are unhappy with their measurements, progress, etc, then when I ask them about their nutrition their response is, ‘Well I don’t eat that bad.’ When pushed further on whether they followed the nutrition I recommend too often then not I hear, ‘I didn’t follow what you recommended. I followed my own nutrition.’

Guys, I’ve been doing this for 18 years. I’ve made it my life’s work. I’ve had 1,000’s of results with people that just follow the plan.  Please, Please, Please, follow the training and the nutrition and you’ll get the best results possible for you.

By the way, I hit PR’s on all my lifts tested this last cycle. This is a huge deal for me considering the length of time I’ve been lifting.  Want to know what my secret was?  It wasn’t steroids.  It wasn’t some miracle supplement. It wasn’t extra training volume and doing two workouts a day.

It was me following my own macros nutrition program and sticking to it, and training 3 sometimes 4 x a week.  That’s it!

Follow the plan and it works.

PS: We still have spots available for our next nutrition program.  It starts May 12th.  You get meal plans, recipes, customized macro nutrient recommendations (that’s amounts of different types of food for the ones who don’t know what macros are), as well as education on the reasons why we do what we do.

More importantly, you get accountability which is what helps everyone succeed.  If you want to expedite your progress, I highly recommend you invest in yourself and hit the summer in style.
