What are some things you think are priorities in your life? Do you schedule time for them? Do you make sure that those things happen at least on a weekly basis?
If they aren’t on your schedule, they are not a priority. If it’s not a priority it usually doesn’t get done.
Take me for example, I am a business owner, my to do list, always has 1000 things on it, but today right now as I write this blog, it’s the last day my kids are with me for a week. They go back to their mom’s house this afternoon. In order to make sure I prioritize time with them, I have blocked out time for 3 uninterrupted hours to spend with them with no work. If I didn’t do that, my to list would eat away at me, and I wouldn’t spend as much time as I’d like.
We all do this. Do you prioritize your workouts? Do you prioritize family time? Do you prioritize food prep?
Everything that you want to help you be successful, you need to schedule on your calendar and then stick to it. The more you do this the more it’ll become a habit. Today on my schedule, I had reading time, coaching time, eating time, several things on my to do list time, and kid/ family time.
I’m not the best at this either but when I do focus on scheduling and time blocking my entire week is 100x more productive.
What can you schedule this week to prioritize? How can you get better organized to create the best outcome this week?
