I wrote about this a couple of months ago, but I was surprised to see how many people didn’t know anything about the Kill Cliff we have in the fridge, so I decided to repost the blog that I wrote about it again. This was the fizzy lifting drink we served after the workouts at the Willy Wonka event.
Check out how awesome this product is, and feel free to click the links to read my other articles on some of the other supplements we carry as well.

I’ve been writing a series once a week on micro nutrients where I cover some of the supplements we carry and discuss why they’re good for you.

Today I want to talk about Kill Cliff:
Here is an excerpt from their website explaining what it’s all about:
Kill Cliff is a functional recovery drink made up of B, C, and E vitamins, electrolytes, and plant extracts including ginger root, green tea extract, and ginseng root powder as well as a unique enzyme blend. Kill Cliff aids in recovery and helps you feel awesome again through micronutrient replenishment and is best taken before, after or during a strenuous workout, or when you need to fight that not-so-awesome feeling. Kill Cliff is an alternative to other everyday beverage choices; no sugar, no artificial colors, no artificial flavors and only 15 calories! And it’s the perfect complement to macronutrient-based protein and carb recovery products. Kill Cliff also tastes AWESOME and just to be clear, it is NOT an energy drink.
Kill Cliff comes in five flavors:
- Tasty (Blood Orange)
- Free Fall (Lemon-Lime)
- Double Awesomeness (Pomegranate Watermelon)
- Berry Legit (Blackberry Lemonade)
- Knight Moves (Wild Raspberry Blueberry)
Let’s delve into a little more detail about what those ingredients mean…
B,C and E vitamins are critical for health and most people don’t get enough of them in their food. All three of these help with specific aspect of recovery from a workout and also help with many other vital health functions.
Electrolytes are lost during sweating, so this will help replenish and rehydrate you so that performance is optimal the next go around.
Ginger root is has been shown in numerous studies to help with muscle soreness and help muscles recover from workouts so this is a good thing to put in your body post workout.
Green tea extract according to the research can help benefit endurance, weight loss, and resting metabolism before a workout, and after workout can also help reduce oxidative stress (this means recovery will be quicker)
Ginseng has been used for centuries as a tonic, stimulant, and aphrodisiac. It’s also been shown to boost your cardiovascular, immune, and nervous systems, and appears to build strength all while helping the function of your adrenal glands during workouts. There’s tons of research out that shows benefits to help the body adapt to stresses both physical and mental. In fact, the World Health Organization states that clinical data supports the use of ginseng for enhancing physical and mental capacities in cases of weakness, exhaustion, tiredness, and loss of concentration.
Another ingredient to note- Caffeine which is a known performance enhancer.
As you can see this product is a great thing to put in your body both pre and post workout. It’ll help you feel better, perform better, and recover from the workouts.
One other thing that’s great about this company it was founded by a former Navy SEAL and they donate a large amount of their profits to the Navy SEAL foundation every year.
Kill Cliff is an all around wonderful product and I highly recommend you make it a part of your regiment.
