8-4-21…Double Digits! 10 Years !!!

August 4th is my son’s birthday.

He turns 10 years old today.

So much has happened the past 10 years both with my kids and as a business at CFB and now LivLimitless.  With Covid this last year it’s been an insane ride!  Oh yeah and not to mention we had Noah’s little sister last year!

It’s so crazy, “they” weren’t kidding when they said time flies.

I’ve written about this before, but just in case you haven’t heard the story….

I usually tell this story on Layla’s birthday, but I think it’s worth repeating here since when Noah was born things got exponentially harder!

When I quit my full time job to go full time at what was then CFB my daughter was just a few weeks old.  15 months later Noah arrived.  There I was with two screaming babies.  Life was pretty crazy!

By the time Noah came, I had been going full time in the business for a little over a year.  Originally, I quit my full time job to chase my passion and my dream and run my own business into the unknown with a brand new baby in my arms, and then boom another one was on the way.

To say that I was afraid and nervous would be an understatement. I was scared sh*t-less. For that entire first year, I wasn’t sure I was going to make it, and then adding another little one to the mix terrified me.  What if I fail?  What if I can’t provide?

Yep I was there… but I had a dream…..

Something inside of me told me that I could do it, AND more than that, I was passionate about what I was doing.

That first year was quite tumultuous.  Life a business owner is like a roller coaster sometimes, but with each day, I’m grateful that we’ve been here now 10 years, and 8 of them I’ve had the company of my boy.

Although we’ve been through ups and downs, I’m excited to say that things are doing well. I love my business, I love my job, I love my family, I love my staff, and I love that we change lives on the daily.

Noah is so vibrant and full of energy, and as emotional as his dad, LOL.  But, I wouldn’t have it any other way.  I look forward to every moment I’m hanging out with him.  He cracks me up! I know he’s destined to do great things!

In the past few years I’ve also been blessed with an incredible wife and bonus mom to my kids.  She loves them so well, and they love her so much.  Our lives are truly blessed, I’m so grateful.  Thank you guys for allowing us to do what we do, and thanks Noah for being an awesome kid for the 10 years you’ve been here.
