8-8-16….CrossFit Bartlett’s Core Values

As you know CrossFit Bartlett is going through some fantastic times.  We’ve seen amazing growth in our community.  We’ve also seen some fantastic coaches come on board in a full time role to better serve you.

I’m so excited to serve you and spread our mission.  With the addition of our new staff we’ve been working hard on defining who CrossFit Bartlett is, and what we are looking to accomplish.  Recently while we were on our quarterly staff function we redefined our core values, and I want to take a second to talk about those.  These are what we truly believe in our hearts, and what we are striving to live up to every day in how operate, not only in our business but in our life.  We are also striving to create fantastic culture and working hard to instill all of these core values in everyone who is a part of our program.

I’m going to spend a few blog posts over the next couple of weeks talking about our Core Values and explaining what they mean, and why they are important to us.  Please help us live up to them, and if we aren’t living up to them please let us know.  We aren’t perfect but we are striving for perfect effort.

Here are our Core Values:

1) Lead with love

2) Live by: ‘When you win, I win’

3) Always give perfect effort

4) Fight for the last 10%

5) Strive for Kaizen

6) Practice gratitude

7) Show grace and humility

8) Be passionate and have fun

When we finished the 6 hours it took for us to come up with this list, we all got emotional because we truly believe it.  We believe that this encompasses what we are trying to accomplish here at CFB and we are striving to live our life by it.

Stay tuned for more in depth explanations of each!
