We spend some much time fretting over a decision to do something. We find every excuse imaginable to not start something. We put it off and put it off. No matter what it is, if there is some perceived possibility of pain or discomfort we procrastinate, or worse, don’t do it at all.
Usually the possible perceived pain is way worse then what actually happens when doing the task. The best thing you can do is just start. Start doing it. Put your head down, grind where you need to grind and get after it. It’ll be done before you know it, or it’ll get easier with time. Better yet, sometimes you’ll actually enjoy it eventually. (Exercise anyone? anyone?)
When all else fails, just start!
