As you know, here at CFB we are always striving to be better at what we do. We are very good at what we do, but we feel that we can always improve. We are striving to be one of the best CrossFit gyms in the world and that takes dedication to our craft, coaching. In addition we are also adding a few people in our instructor training program. All of our staff have steps that they need to follow in order to progress, and part of those steps are passing coaching evaluations on a continual basis. In light of that, you may see myself, or Trai out on the floor evaluating one of our coaches. It’s not that we don’t ‘trust’ him/ her or think he/she are doing a bad job. We are working on improving and constantly getting better. The evaluators job is to find weak points, (we all have them), and help the coach grow in their abilities to be even more awesome. Just as we can all get better on our olympic lifts and coaches can help us do that, our evaluations will help all of our coaches be better, and allow us to continually improve our amazing service.
