It’s Frustrating Some Times…

I admit it, I get frustrated, and when I do, I don’t do a very good job of hiding it.

I want to take a second to talk about why I get frustrated. I’m not frustrated with you not getting a movement, or struggling with a skill. I’m not frustrated that you struggle and have insecurities. I’m not frustrated with your fitness level.

The most frustrating thing for me is when you fail to see your own potential. When you’re so hung up on other things, or so negative on yourself, that you quit before you even start. I get frustrated when you don’t try. It’s so easy to give up quickly. It’s so easy to talk negatively to yourself.

It’s much more difficult to actually give it a go. Instead of using the words, ‘I can’t’ replace them with, ‘I won’t,’ because in reality if you’re in our gym and we’re telling you to do something, you CAN do it, it’s just a matter of whether you decide to or not.

When you care about someone you get frustrated when they fail to things that you know they can do, especially when they quit on themselves.

All I ask for in our program is that you give yourself a chance. Work past your mental struggle, and give it a shot. If you do you’ll be amazed at what you can accomplish.
