I know it’s a stupid slang title, but now that I got your attention I want to address something with you…
It’s summer and many of us travel, yours truly included. Just because you take time off from the gym doesn’t mean you need to let all your gains that you’ve achieved go by the wayside.
There are some tricks of the trade that you can do to help you keep what you’ve earned even while having a little bit of fun.
#1 Do a workout in the morning.
When you wake up in the morning, or around noon 🙂 . Do a quick workout fasted before you eat anything. Whether it’s a short run, or 30 burpees, or push ups or whatever. Do something to get some blood flowing and put your body in a fat burning state. This will help boost your metabolism, and help you be more resilient to the night life.
Here’s a list of workouts you can do while traveling
#2 Do some kind of nutrition planning.
Even when traveling most places have a meat and vegetable. If your dinner is a steak and some veggies, go ahead and have a desert, if you worked out that morning it won’t hurt you that bad. I would still try to avoid toxic stuff like gluten, but to each their own..
#3 Supplement for Success
You can get activated charcoal from any health food store, my favorite is from this website at bullet proof executive. But there are other brands out there. Taking one of these before you got to bed after drinking will help you detoxify and will help you recover faster. This isn’t a license to drink till you puke, but it will help you detoxify.
Also, supplementing with glutamine like the T.A.G. we have on the shelf will help your intestine heal from environmental stressors
#4 Relax and have fun
The most important part about traveling and ultimately the reason why we do it is to have fun and reset a little. So make sure you do that.
See ya when you get back!
