It’s time for the Open Season.

I still believe this to be true. This week Feb. 27th the first workout will be released. Every week the workout will be released on Thursday and you will have until Sunday to submit your scores. If you want them to be legit, you have to participate at the gym with a judge.
We will be doing the Open workouts as an event for Friday Night Lights. Even if you are not planning on registering you should still come and participate in the event. These days last year were some of the coolest events we had. The more people that show up the better.
It’s really great when we get a lot of people to actually register and participate in the Open. You never know what that spirit can do for your fitness.
Last year, one of my favorite stories is we had a member who had never snatched over 125 lbs before the Open. During the competition he was so fired up and excited, he was able to push himself to snatch 135 lbs for multiple reps. It’s just an amazing experience. I urge everyone to register for the Open and let’s have some great fun this week!
