10-11-17…. “I Know My Limits”…..

I’ve been talking about limits lately and the concept of LivLimitless.  This was a blog that I wrote quite awhile ago and thought it was fitting for this week’s discussion…

This statement kind of blew me away a little bit, and really made me ponder it.

Does anyone ever really know their limits? I don’t think it’s possible to know your limits. Nobody knows what you’re capable of especially not you.

If Michael Phelps knew his limits as a goofy looking unathletic kid who couldn’t play sports, would he have won all those gold medals and be one of the greatest athletes of all time in swimming?

What about Michael Jordan?

He was cut from his high school basketball team. Did he know his limits as someone who couldn’t play basketball? No he became one of the best NBA players of all time.

The truth is that none of us know our limits.

If we succumb to our own self imposed constraints we are doomed to a life of where we are currently at.

If we never challenge ourselves to push those limits, we will never become better.

I don’t know your limits. You don’t know your limits.

All of us are capable of amazing things in our life as soon as we decide that we don’t know what our limits are.

I don’t know what my limits are but I promise I will keep pushing until I find them.
