10-9-17… Self Imposed Limits….

I know I’ve written about this before, but I deal with it so much it’s on the top of my mind… a lot.

It’s the idea of self imposed limits.

What the heck is that you ask?

It’s when you make a conscious decision that you can not be any better at something, or that you absolutely can not do something.

In our world this happens a lot….

We talk to someone about what we do and their response is, ‘Oh I could never do that, because, (insert excuse here).’  This happened at least 50 times at the festival we are at.

I know the excuse seems valid to that person, and that’s not what I’m arguing.

What I’m saying is that when you make a decision to give up….

when you make a decision that’s the best you’ll ever be, that’s what I have a problem with.

You see, in reality, if you’re not progressing, you’re regressing.

The body is always training, and if you’re not training it to be better you are training it to get worse.

Novel idea isn’t it?

It’s true though, if you are sitting on the couch all the time you are training your body to be really efficient at sitting on the couch. If you are pushing yourself on a regular basis, you are training yourself to be better on a regular basis.

These are fundamental facts.

Don’t give up on yourself. There may be things that you struggle with at this point, but that doesn’t mean you won’t get better at them if you work on it.

This is one of the fundamental things that fight against in our line of work, and in reality, it’s how we came up with our new name.  LivLimitless.

Our goal is to help you push past your self imposed limits and live a life without limits.

If you want to live your life…. I mean truly live your life, stop putting self imposed limits on yourself. Do your best and that’s all you can ever do and see where it leads you.
