‘You can make time, or you can make excuses, but you can’t make both at the same time.’
– Grant Cardone
When I read this quote it really stuck out to me. I hear it all the time. ‘I don’t have time to do that.’ ‘I can’t make it to the gym, I don’t have time.’ ‘I can’t cook healthy, I don’t have time.’
The list goes on and on.
The reality is, we ALL have 24 hours in a day. We are all busy. We make time for what our priorities are. If your priorities are watching another episode of Walking Dead, you’ll make time for that. If your priorities are going out to eat, you’ll make time for that. If your priorities are, working out and eating healthy you’ll make time for that too.
I’m not saying that I don’t fall victim to this because I do. I get busy. I put other priorities in the way of working out. We are all guilty of it.
BUT we must make ourselves a priority more often than not, if we want to be around to enjoy the rest of life.
Where are your priorities currently? Are they aligned with what you say?
