Today I turned 39 years old. What a year this last year has been! Who knew that shortly after my 38th birthday, the world would be engulfed in a pandemic. Covid-19 hit all of us pretty hard and changed the face of our lives, and our business forever.
After finishing all the construction on our building at the end of February we closed for a few months for Covid. We lost tons of members for various reasons, and over the past year, it’s been a struggle to keep the doors open. I’ve done some serious soul searching on whether the stress, and late nights, and all the worry is worth it.
But then every time I get an email for review with someone talking about how much our program has changed their life, I get a renewed energy and excitement about the amazing things we are doing.
Krystal and I also had a baby. Little Lucy was born and she’s amazing, couple that with Covid and it’s been one heck of a ride this year.
My other kids are growing up so fast. Hunter is graduating high school. Lyndon and her husband are rocking army life in North Caroline. Layla is going into middle school, and Noah is about to finish 3rd grade. All my school kids have been virtual all year, talk about craziness there!
I’m married to my love Krystal, and we run the business together. Our life together is amazing and I’m so grateful every day that I get to share life with her. It’s so awesome working with my partner in life and creating the work and life of our dreams. It’s been a crazy and stressful year, but I’m so excited to be facing it together with Krystal.
I feel very strongly that 39 will be the best year yet, and I can’t wait to see what’s in store for the Emmons family!
Arnold has always been a hero of mine. His work ethic is insane, and his level of success is due to his tenacity and failure to quit.
I hope this gets you fired up today!
