8-30-17… 10 Year Plan….

Today in my business planning session we had to go over a 10 year, 5 year, and a 1 year plan for myself personally as well as the business.

To me this is such a hard exercise to do.  There is so much I want to accomplish in my lifetime, and in reality 10 years is not a long time.  But that got me thinking….

How many of you have a 10 year plan?  How many of you have a 5 year plan or a 3 year plan?

Do you look that far ahead or are you just living for the weekend?  If you want to be truly successful in life, you must spend some time thinking about what you want to accomplish and then set bench marks in order to achieve it.

Have you ever done that?  If you haven’t it’s ok.  You are not alone.  The beauty of having a plan is it gives you a target.  It gives you something to work towards.  It can always change.  It can always progress.  As long as you have one.

If you don’t have one.  It’s time to create one.  Take out a piece of paper and think about where you want to be in 10 years.

Where do you want to be personally, professionally, spiritually, financially, relationally?

Map those out then reverse engineer it for where you need to be in 5 years and 3 years, and 1 year.

Now go and achieve it!
