Anniversary Dinner

This Saturday we are having our Anniversary celebration/ Thanksgiving Day Shindig.  In the fall of 2008 I was working my tail off as an athletic trainer, and personal training as a side job.  I had been personal training for about 8 years, and was very good at what I was doing.  I had stumbled across CrossFit online but at that point didn’t really understand what they were trying to do.  Then I went to CrossFit certification and my whole world changed??

With my background and knowledge, I was blown away with their approach to fitness.  It fit within my paradigm of training athletes and it was an awesome well packaged approach to fitness.  When I got home, I was so excited I told my wife we were going to open a gym?.

That went over like a lead balloon, so we started small.  We started out with 3 people in an 800 square foot space.  In three months we had 30.  We were blown away.  By November of 2009 we needed to move into a bigger space and that is where we are currently.  

Fast forward to today.  We have gone from 800 square feet to 6000 square feet.  3 members to 160 amazing people, and continually growing.  It has been an amazing ride, and I’m not able to do what I love as a full time job.  We also have a place where others can do what they love full time.  Most importantly though, we are changing lives every single day.  

I am so thankful that you guys are members of our crazy world.  Thank you so much for allowing us to create positive momentum in your life.  I know in my heart one day we will hit our vision of changing 1000 lives daily, and I know we can change Memphis.
