The other day we had a great workout with running in it. Now anytime we have a workout with running in it, especially longer distances, there will be a great disparity between the finish times in the workout. Some people are just better runners then others.
We were doing the 6pm class which has become THE place to be, with a regular 15 people showing up and what I say made me have a ‘proud papa’ moment.
At the end of the workout, most of the group went outside, stood in the cold, and cheered on the people that were still finishing up the workout. Then we even had some people who finished early run and meet the others and run them back in.
This is EXACTLY what we’re going for in our community here at CrossFit Bartlett, and I wanted to take a second to highlight how proud I am of this group, and what an awesome community we’ve got going on!
Keep on keepin’ on guys, because, speaking from experience, there’s nothing better then coming around that corner and seeing a group of people cheering for you…
Your day just gets a little bit better.
