I’ve received this quote a lot when I talk to someone about CrossFit. It’s a common misconception. With CrossFit getting on mainstream media with the CrossFit Games etc. it’s becoming more and more common for people to think they can’t do it. Couple that with the low barrier to entry to become a CrossFit coach and the plethora of idiocy that makes it to the internet under the banner of CrossFit and it’s easy to see why people could think that they can’t do it. I watched Michael Phelps swim in the olympics once, there’s no way I could ever swim, I’m not at that level yet. You see the fallacy in that logic? If you work with a great coach ANYONE could do CrossFit. Our average age at CFB is 40 years old. I have all levels of people doing CrossFit. People come here to get to another level. We call it upgrading your life. Don’t hide behind the excuse that you can’t do it. If you want to make a change and upgrade your life, come and see us!
