Welcome to the CFB staff Sunny!
Hello, my name is Sunny Salzman. I
am a Statesboro, Georgia native who has recently made Memphis, Tennessee my
home, along with my Fianc?e, to become a part of the CrossFit Bartlett family.
I will be your new Childcare specialist! I have been working with children from
newborn to 13 year-olds for 5 years as a day care provider, private babysitter,
tutor, and coach. In doing so, it has been my goal to provide a comfortable,
safe, and fun environment for children to learn social skills amongst their
peers, and providing them avenues to communicate with the adult staff and
administration so that your child is ensured to have all of their needs met
while in my care. I have been trained by both public and private administrations
on the proper/best way to provide a safe environment for children. During this
safety training I was taught how to handle parent pick-ups, toy/environment
evaluations, top allergies amongst children (as well as how to detect
reactions), and emergency queuing (i.e. if a child is bit by a bug and has an
allergic reaction the proper things to tell that child is to keep them calm until
further steps can be taken). I have also worked with children with special
needs (deafness, Down syndrome, post- traumatic stress, public anxiety, ADHD,
ext) and know how to meet the needs of these children without isolating them
from the group. I believe that since not all children are the same each one
deserves a different style of care that best matches that child?s imagination,
learning style, and interest. Through this method I have been able to make
daycare, learning, and coaching fun and unique for each child, and I am looking
forward to providing the same top quality service and environment for the
parents and children at Crossfit Bartlett.
