What a profound statement. I truly believe Steve Jobs believed that. I believe that he wanted to help people so bad, that his entire world revolved around it. He wanted to make a difference and positively affect other people. With his guidance, Apple was truly able to change the world with the invention of the iPod, iPad, and iPhone. His passion led him to great things, and because of that he was able to change the lives of millions of people.
It’s my belief that we can all live our lives that way. We can all strive to make a dent in the world. We may not affect millions, but maybe just a few in our inner circle. That’s ok. If you do something positive for them, you may put a dent in their world. You never know where someone is in their life. It’s possible that a smile may have made someone’s day, or even saved their life. Once when I was younger, I made one friend that saved my life. I was in such a depression that I got extremely close to suicide. If it wasn’t for that one friend, I would’ve ended it all. Because of that 1 person I’m here today. I run my own business. I have a beautiful and amazing family, and I get the chance every day to make a dent in someone else’s universe, and with the help of our members we are affecting more and more lives everyday. We are truly making a difference in people’s lives and we are doing it with your help!
The next time you think you are having a bad day, do your best to make someone else smile. You can affect them. Who knows maybe you can put a dent in someone else’s universe.
