Testing Week February 2015

It’s time to see what you’re made of!

This week we will begin testing our 1 rep maxes.

This is where we push the limits, lay it all on the line and see how much we can actually lift.

It’s important to know what your maxes are, that way we can adjust accordingly when we’re doing workouts and lifting in order to get you to continually progress.

It’s imperative that you push yourself to failure and see what you can do.  If you lifted it and completed the lift, then try again until you actually fail.  Many people don’t like to fail, but you never truly know what you can do until you push yourself to failure.  Push yourself out of your comfort zone this week, and let’s see what you’ve got.

It’s also critical that you keep track of your records, so make sure you document them somewhere that you can refer back to.
