What’s Your Purpose?

What’s your purpose for doing what you do?  Have you ever really thought about it?  Why do you train hard everyday?  Why do you go to the gym?  Is it because you want to be healthy?  Go deeper then that?  Do you want to look better naked?  Sure everyone does, but go deeper then that.  What is your real motivating factor?  Is it shame?  Do you feel ashamed when you go to the beach?  Is it vulnerability?  Do you feel vulnerable when you need help picking up something heavy?  Do you work out for your family?  Do you want to be healthy in order to maintain health for them?

I have several purposes for what I do.  My number one purpose is family.

family1

I love my family more than anything.  I train hard because I want to be healthy and live a long to be there for my family.  I work hard every day trying to grow my business because I want to support and take care of my family.  I want to be the father that I never had.  I want to be there for my family in whatever capacity I can.  Every time someone signs up to train with us, that helps me take care of my family.

I work so hard on coaching and providing an exceptional fitness business because I don’t want anyone to have to go through what I went through as a kid.  Feeling shame and vulnerability from being overweight is awful.  I was made fun of relentlessly when I was a kid, so I understand the mental struggles.  You never know what people are going through personally, but my purpose for this business is to create an environment where people don’t have to go through that.  I lay awake at night trying to figure out how we can get YOU better results.  That’s what drives me.

What’s your real purpose?  Why do you do what you do?  Think about it.  Let me know.  Post comments below!
