This Saturday is the preliminary workout for the Whole Life Challenge. PS: The WOD for that day is the WLC event, so if you’re planning on working on Saturday, you should join the event ;).
We have done this in the past and it’s been an absolutely amazing success!
If you don’t know what it is check out this blog that I wrote about it last week!
Today I want to talk about why I’m personally doing it. I own a gym, I must eat healthy all the time and do everything to take care of myself right? Wrong answer. The truth is, I’m just like you. I’ve got tons of work to do. I’m extremely busy. I run a business. I have a wife and kids that I dedicate time to. I like watching a few TV shows. I procrastinate on my work sometimes. Sometime I get busy and would rather pick up fast food. Does any of this sound familiar?
Guess what, I don’t have anyone holding me accountable. Who’s my coach that is guiding and talking to me about what I do? Oh yeah it’s me. Sometimes me let’s me get away with too much ya know what I mean?
This game puts in a fun environment daily accountability. It gives you a path to clear success, and it causes you to log in and hold yourself accountable. Even if you’re not trying to lose body fat, it’s still about creating optimal health which is what we’re all about here at CFB.
So I will be playing and leading a team of CFB’ers in the WLC. I’m going to hold myself accountable and take care of myself to improve my overall health. I’m certain I’ll knock out some PR’s, drop some body fat, and just generally feel better.
I’m stoked about it….. you going to join me?
