World Class Fitness in 100 words

In the words of Greg Glassman, the founder of CrossFit, this is the definition of elite fitness in less then 100 words.

Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no sugar. Keep intake to levels that will support exercise but not body fat. Practice and train major lifts: Deadlift, clean, squat, presses, C&J, and snatch. Similarly, master the basics of gymnastics: pull-ups, dips, rope climb, push-ups, sit-ups, presses to handstand, pirouettes, flips, splits, and holds. Bike, run, swim, row, etc, hard and fast. Five or six days per week mix these elements in as many combinations and patterns as creativity will allow. Routine is the enemy. Keep workouts short and intense. Regularly learn and play new sports.

~Greg Glassman

This is the mantra that we live by when deciding what we do as a gym. If you look at the last sentence, regularly learn and play new sports, this was a reason for the creation of the Paleolithic Adventure Club. This weekend we will be taking a trip to Climb Nashville, to learn and play a new sport of climbing. It should be a ton of fun, and I urge you guys to go even if you think you can?t do it. It should be awesome! Talk to Michelle, Christ (TI), or Myself if you want to go, there is still room. Let us know ASAP!
